Know The Formal Declaration of Bangladesh Independence 

Early in the morning of 26 March 1971, the Pakistan army began a military crackdown. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was arrested, and most of the political leaders fled to neighboring India. The Bangladeshi Declaration of Independence was passed by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman before he was arrested by the Pakistani Army. Originally, this note was widely circulated and transmitted by East Pakistan Rifles’ wireless transmitter. Bangladesh’s declaration of independence by Bangabandhu was covered widely by the world press from late March 1971. Major Ziaur Rahman of the Bengali Army captured the Kalurghat Radio Station in Chittagong during the evening hours of 27 March and read the Bengali declaration of independence. At Bangabandhu Mujibur Rahman’s direction, Major Ziaur Rahman hereby declares that Bangladesh is now an Independent People’s Republic. I have been appointed temporary head of the Republic at his direction. It is in the name of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman that I appeal to all Bengalees to stand up against this attack by West Pakistan. We will fight to the death to liberate our motherland. We will win by the grace of Allah. So it can be said that Bangladesh history is very attarctive.

The People and Ethnic Minorities Of Bangladesh History

Most of Bangladesh’s population is Bengali, a term that describes both an ethnic and linguistic group.
